We are happy you have chosen to visit Westwood online. It is our hope you will find both interesting and informative information. the site is provided primarily to be a ministry tool. You will find a cross-section of the pastor’s sermons.
The information part of the site will give you a better understanding of Westwood Baptist church. For example, our Purpose, Values, Vision and Missions statement provides an overview of important beliefs and future direction we see the church purposefully heading. This document is available online or may be secured in a color brochure from the Information Center in the foyer of the church.
Westwood is an evangelistic and mission-minded church. As to evangelism, about one third of our new membership have come via believer’s baptism. We baptize individuals who have professed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Concerning missions, approximately 15% of all money received is given to fulfill the Great Commission. The Great Commission charge is that we take the good news of Jesus to the ends of the age–the whole world. Thus we provide an annual missions trip to the International Mission field.
